where we meet

Gatherings

Ten years of showing up in the same place at the same time, on purpose.

Some of it was nine days in the Mexican jungle. Some of it was a month of co-living split into Ritual, Mind, Body and Beyond. Some of it was five days in the Alentejo, building a sanctuary together out of mud.

What follows is the record: every long-format gathering, in order, with what we know about each one. The burns, decompressions and celebrations live further down. If you were at one of them, it's yours too — and if we've got a date or a name wrong, tell us.

also

Not everything is a gathering.

Alongside the long-format gatherings there are the decompressions — the first HEART DECOMPRESSION in Brooklyn in 2015, a hundred people in an unconventional room, and I, Heart there in 2019 — the burns, the fundraisers, and the short music-led celebrations in rooms that know how to hold us: Anomalie in Berlin, Maxa Camp, Xaman, Mia, Tekio and Loyal Order in Tulum.

The four formats

The next one isn’t on this page yet.

It starts the way they all did.

Every edition above happened because enough people decided to carry one — the sound, the floor, the kitchen, the hours nobody sees. If you want a hand in the next, say so and we’ll find you something to hold.
