the heart cru
Heart Crü
Nobody here is staff. The gatherings are built by the people who come to them.
There has never been a company behind Project Heart. Every fire circle, every sound system, every meal for a hundred people has been someone deciding to take it on — usually someone who came the year before as a guest.
That's the whole model, and it's the only reason any of it has lasted eleven years. Below is where hands are needed.
word going round
We hear rumors that a next infinity dance is wanted.
Are you up for it?
We’ve had them by the cenote, by the Mediterranean coast and in the desert. We’re not sure where the next one is — but it starts the same way every time: enough people deciding to carry it. The sound, the floor, the hours nobody sees.

No CV, no interview, no experience required for most of it. Tell us which one pulls at you and we'll take it from there.

Sound & music
Hold the room
Booking and looking after the artists, running the decks, and keeping the system alive through a night that runs longer than planned. If you've ever fixed a mixer at 4am you already know whether this is you.
-
Art & build
Make the place the place
Structures, shade, lights, signage, the things people photograph without knowing why. Everything from carrying timber to deciding where the hearts go. Bring hands, bring ideas, bring a drill if you have one.
-
Kitchen
Feed a hundred people
Planning, shopping, cooking and washing up at a scale that surprises everyone the first time. It is the hardest shift and the one people come back for, because the kitchen ends up being where everything actually happens.
-
Care
Keep an eye out
Being the person someone can find when they need a quiet corner, water, a first-aid kit or just a check-in. Not a medical role and not a security role — it's paying attention, and knowing who to get.
-
Welcome
Meet everyone at the gate
First faces, arrivals, bags, orientation, the felt heart pressed into a hand. Half the reason people describe the first hour as the part they remember — it's the shift that sets the tone for someone's whole week.

Photo & film
Bring back the evidence
Shooting the gathering with the consent and the discretion it deserves, and getting the images back to the community afterwards. Everything on the Moments page came from someone doing this.
Don't see yourself in any of those?
Most of what the cru does now started as somebody arriving with a skill nobody had asked for. Rituals, workshops, tea, repairs, translation, spreadsheets — tell us what you'd bring.
